SETTING
Note: while in the Animal Crossing series personalities are gender specific, that is not the case on here! Feel free to make your character whatever personality you see fit~
CRANKY
CRANKY
The cranky characters can seem quite bitter and out-of-touch with social trends, making them generally unpopular with the peppy villagers. They find it easy to get along with snooty villagers and other cranky villagers, usually discussing trivial things such as food and the problems with unhealthy food. They get along with normal villagers most of the time, but can offend, and therefore annoy them quite easily if the wrong things have been said. They find it difficult to get along with peppy, smug, uchi and jock villagers, who cranky villagers claim are mucking around. They also get along with lazy and normal villagers most of the time, but can directly offend them when anything wrong has been said.
NORMAL
Normal villagers, despite being called "normal," have a lack of self-worth, where they feel self-depreciative. They also appear slightly obsessive with cleanliness and hygiene - a trait also found in peppy villagers. They do not, however, appear to show any concern for their physical appearance, making them happy with what they have. They are the mother-like characters in the town, appearing friendly, sweet, and hospitable towards other villagers. They are very rarely (if at all) angry and tend to take insults and disappointment easily, but will apologize even though they may not have done anything. They also seem to enjoy cooking and will often about food.
PEPPY
They speak with chipper, bouncy voices and enjoy cheering when talking other villagers; they are rarely discouraged from doing anything. They come out of their homes often. They find it easy to get along with other villagers, but may become the center of jokes and gossip created by snooty and cranky villagers, and when either of two are rude, peppy villagers are rude back to them. They get along with normal, lazy, and jock villagers, who naturally avoid making rude comments and share similar lifestyles with them, such as; food with lazy villagers, activities with jock villagers and typical, 'girly' discussions with normal villagers. They do not hesitate to talk to snooty and cranky villagers, but may annoy them with their conflicting habits, such as jumpiness, which conflicts with their refined stature.
JOCK
Jock villagers are obsessed with sports, talking frequently about their physical appearance and sporting progress and occasionally gossip. They brag quite a bit, usually about working out. They are rarely angry unless pushed too far or offended by others, particularly lazy villagers who have conflicting personalities.
SMUG
They are very polite, kind, and will easily get along with other villagers. They seem to be a mix between all personality types and are lively, kind, and positive, but may come off as conceited. They also will occasionally flirt with the villagers. mugs tend to have a big ego and talk about how much they're cool most of the time and cooler than everyone else.
LAZY
Lazy villagers have a relaxed and laid-back, sometimes arrogant, approach to living in the town. They appear somewhat hospitable or friendly, in the way they speak and talk about hobbies, particularly fashion. They do not take insults most of the time but sometimes they can, though they are very friendly and open minded. They also tend to dramatize when sick, and they often pronounce 'medicine' as 'bedicine'. They get along more with other lazy, peppy, and normal villagers. Jock villagers will find it difficult to get along with them, due to their conflicting lifestyles of relaxing compared to the jock lifestyle of exercising and fitness. Lazy villagers are often brought down by snooty villagers because of their diet, lifestyle, and bitter comments towards them. Cranky villagers will get along with lazy villagers too, as they too enjoy the slow-paced lifestyle and outlook on life. They sometimes get cranky or sad when talking to jock villagers. Sometimes they will make peppy, snooty, or jock villagers angry.
UCHI
Uchi villagers are very caring and are less vain than the snooty or peppy villagers, but they are also more blunt and tomboyish and may come across as rude on some occasions. They like to party a lot, get bored easily when things are calm, seem always in search of stunt emotions and experiences. They have a tendency to stay up very late at night.
